What are the options

Options are contracts presenting the right to buy or to sell in time to come certain commodity, so-called underlying assets, for forward price during the specified time period. Respectively until the date of expiration of the contract, so-called option expiration date. For obtaining of such right the buyer pays to the option seller, so-called writer, option premium.
